European Commission proposes €8bn supercomputing investment
At the Linnaro Connect, EPI’s Chairman of the Board, Jean-Marc Denis, gave a keynote titled “EPI: the European approach for Exascale ages. The road to sovereignty.”, while SiPearl’s VP Marketing & Business Development, Craig Prunty, gave another talk titled “Developing Rhea, the SiPearl European High-Performance Processor”.
EPI Chairman of the Board, Jean-Marc Denis, attended the Korean Supercomputing 20 that was held virtually, and delivered a keynote titled “The European approach for exascale ages. The road toward sovereignty”.
Our colleagues from UNIPI presented at SMARTCOMP, with a paper titled: A Novel Posit-based Fast Approximation of ELU Activation Function for Deep Neural Networks. The poster from the conference is available here.
