Jean-Marc Denis attended the SOS23 Workshop in Asheville, NC, USA.

EPI team attended the Supercomputing conference in Denver, with its own exhibition booth and four more shared partners’ booths exhibiting EPI materials. In addition to that, EPI representatives held several presentations and invited talks:

At the Arm User Group meeting, Yingchih Yang from Atos presented the EPI Design Updated, while Dirk Pleiter from Julich presented “Linear algebra on Arm-based platforms: From Neon to SVE”. EPI Chairman of the Board, Jean-Marc Denis attended the ETP4HPC BoF with an invited talk, and also the ASC HPC Connection Workshop with a talk titled “Recent Developments on EPI Program”.

Parallel Computing conference (ParCo2019) was held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 10-13 September 2019.

HPC User Forum took place in Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago, Illinois, September 9-11, 2019. On September 10, in the afternoon session chaired by Paul Muzio, EPI’s Chairman of the Board, Jean-Marc Denis, addressed the attendees and explained the European Processor Initiative.

EPI Consortium members published “European Processor Initiative (EPI)—An Approach for a Future Automotive eHPC Semiconductor Platform” in the Electronic Components and Systems for Automotive Applications, proceedings of the 5th CESA Automotive Electronics Congress, Paris, 2018.

Chairman of the EPI General Assembly Board, Jean-Marc Denis, held a presentation on EPI at the Supercomputing Asia event. EPI was also presented at a shared booth, with its roll-up and EPI flyers, together with PRACE and ETP4HPC initiatives.
