The Open Edge and HPC Initiative (OEHI, http://www.openedgehpcinitiative.org) organized the CODES@OEHI #2 Virtual Hackathon for developers interested in porting applications to Arm-based systems with or without the acceleration provided by GPU (Nvidia Tesla V100-PCIe), and/or in improving the performances of an already ported application. The long-term objective for the hackathon is getting developers accustomed with the Arm ecosystem (HW and SW) in the perspective of the availability of the EPI first-generation microprocessor, for which the roadmap has been presented.
The hackathon was attended by 13 developers and was supported by EPI’s members Juelich, CINECA and E4, and by Arm and NVIDIA as technical enablers. Introductory presentation is available in our repository: https://www.european-processor-initiative.eu/dissemination-material/epi-oehi-2-virtual-hackathon/
